Mike Grannell

Emeritus Professor

I joined the OU in 1997 as a visiting research professor and from 1999 until 2007 I was employed as a full-time research fellow. During this period, in addition to research activities, I contributed to the presentation and assessment of MST121, MS221, M203, M208 and MT365. I also co-authored and presented M836 (Coding Theory). I retired as a full-time employee in 2008 but I am still actively engaged in research work and I continue to present M836.

My main research area is combinatorics, with particular emphasis on block designs and Steiner triple systems. My personal website gives further details, including downloadable preprints of my recent publications.
