Gwyneth Stallard wins Suffrage Science Award

Friday, Oct 7th 2016

Congratulations to Gwyneth Stallard who is being honoured as part of the Suffrage Science Scheme, run by the Medical Research Council's Clinical Sciences Centre. She is among 12 women receiving awards in 2016 to celebrate their scientific achievements in maths and computing, and their ability to inspire others.

The awards themselves are pieces of jewellery designed by arts students and inspired by science. In two years’ time the twelve women will choose the next winners and pass on the jewellery, creating a network of inspirational women in maths and computing in a manner inspired by the Suffragette Movement.
