External engagement

Academics in the School of Mathematics and Statistics are involved in a wide range of external engagement activities across all four nations, from public lectures on the history of mathematics at the Museum of London, to workshops with school children at the Northern Ireland Science Festival. We are passionate about sharing our love of mathematics with the public through developing exhibitions, such as the Winton mathematics gallery at the Science Museum, and by sharing our research expertise through live events, including our own Open STEM talks series.
